Pure, organic rosewater smells wonderful and has numerous health and beauty benefits. Traditionally it has been used by many cultures to soothe tired, gritty and irritated eyes
Rosewater (in it's pure organic state) has numerous health and beauty benefits due to it's cooling, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is suitable for even the most sensitive of skin and especially beneficial for mature skin as it is a natural hydrator.

Traditionally used by many cultures as a wash to soothe tired, gritty and irritated eyes it comes into it's own in the UK during the hayfever season. Obviously all eye complaints should be checked by an optician or GP but if there are no major problems or infection then rosewater can be a great relief on long haul flights, after prolonged screen time or as a pick-me-up for eyes that simply feel tired. After removing make up with a natural cleanser rosewater can be used as a final skin toner and eye refresher before bedtime.

Cheap rosewater is made with synthetic fragrant extracts which have no therapeutic value, so it has no place in a natural skincare regime and definitely shouldn't be applied to the eye area.
